Mission

The Family Medicine publishing circle seeks to develop a community of authors/writers who will share their ideas/insights/experiences with the larger community. The overall goal is to help people understand Family Medicine and related interests. 

Participants in the circle can choose the focus/topic they will address. We expect that over time the participants will improve their writing, video, podcast and/or blogging skills and abilities and they will increasingly find satisfaction in their sharing. 

Methods

The community will meet once per month for the first three months and then once per quarter/3 months. During these meetings, we will provide encouragement and support to one another. We will share resources that will help us to get things done. We are each willing to offer feedback and support to one another on an as-needed/as-available basis. The group will maintain a Google folder where all forms of media can be uploaded and shared. The circle will also maintain a blog site where individuals can share/post their materials. Authors retain the rights to their materials and are free to share their materials with any organizations of their choosing including their respective home organization.
